The high mountain of Etna
A route of about 42 kms with various lava trails and grottos formed out of the lava flow.
An interesting trip with departure on the South side, at a level between 1700 and 2000 metres s.l.m and then going round to reach the North side.
This trip is about 42 km long and can be taken the opposite way round, either way with breath-taking views appearing before the visitorâs eyes.

PSYCHO-PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: not suitable for people with health problems in particular with problems to the cardio-respiratory.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:
We recommend that all our members wear trekking shoes, with the correct socks, and bring a wind-jacket because the temperature can be 10-15°C colder than in the towns. Please also bring 2 litres of water.
