The picnic mainly consists of local specialties, made with vegetables typical of our region (like pistachios, grilled vegetables, mushrooms from Etna, baby artichokes, dried tomatoes, olives, Caponata and cheese) together with fresh bread and good wine, Etna Rosso D.O.C.
In winter time lunch will not be open air but inside a mountain restaurant, a vegetarian option will anyway be available.
No. All the excursions reach a maximum altitude of 2,000 meters.
The intent of the tour is to show the natural and volcanological aspects of Etna and the flora and fauna of the volcano.
You'll walk around some extinct craters and you'll be able to admire the summit craters from many scenic points.
In order to facilitate the group and not to affect the actual program of the tour, we usually arrange some meeting points for the participants in the center of Linguaglossa, a town near the North of Etna.
If you're staying outside Linguaglossa, we'll agree a convenient meeting point easy to reach by bus, train or driving (where it is also possible to park your car).
For groups we could also arrange for alternative meeting points upon request. Please contact us for further information.
If you contact us the day before the tour we'll provide the name of the guide and the type/color of the vehicle.
It is possible to cancel the excursion free of charge up to seven days before the date of your excursion.

In case of late cancellation or no show on the day, we'll apply a fee of the 50% of the entire amount.
The fee will be debited from the credit card you have provided when booking or simply withheld in case of an advanced payment.
